Kolly Gallery is proud to announce an exceptional exhibition to mark its tenth anniversary. Entitled «The Graffiti Gallery», this unique exhibition will take place in Fribourg, echoing the 50 years of Hip-Hop theme of the FIFF (Festival International de Films de Fribourg) and with the support of the City of Fribourg Culture Department. The event will bring together renowned national and international artists, offering visitors a fascinating dive into the world of graffiti and urban culture.
The exhibition opening will take place on March 7, 18:00–21:00, at L’Atelier, Place de Notre-Dame 16, Fribourg. The festivities will continue until March 31, with an exhibition open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday, 12-6pm.
«The Graffiti Gallery» will take over all five floors of L’Atelier, offering a total immersion in urban art. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover a wide variety of freely accessible works and installations, created by some of the most emblematic artists on the graffiti scene.
In addition to the exhibition, many exciting events will be organized during the residency at L’Atelier. On the program: screenings, panel discussions, lectures and guided tours. A highlight of the exhibition will take place on Friday, March 22, with the screening of the film «Style Wars» (USA, 1983) in collaboration with the FIFF, followed by a film by KCBR (CH, 2018), and a round-table discussion on graffiti.
